Abstract:
RbMnF3 is an insulating antiferromagnet with a Néel temperature of 83 K. In this presentation, we will report measurements of the spin Seebeck effect in bulk samples of RbMnF3 with a thin Pt film. We will also discuss the challenges to develop a theory to explain such results.
